Rangnath Dol Temple, also known as Ranganatha Temple, is a historic temple located in Majuli, in the Indian state of Assam. It is one of the most significant temples of the Vaishnavite culture in Assam and attracts devotees from all over the region.

Rangnath Dol Temple History:

King Jayadhvaj Singha of the Ahom dynasty constructed the temple in the 17th century to honor Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and dedicated to the deity Ranganatha. The temple is built on a raised platform and surrounded by a large garden.
